A
credit or debit or card is required at the time of booking to secure your
reservation.
Reservations can be made by phone, letter or email.
A secured booking represents a contract between the guest and the Guest House.
Bookings cancelled 7 days or more prior to arrival no charge 48hours first
nights stay less than 48 hours or In the event of people failing to arrive
without notification may be responsible for the entire cost of the booking.
Curtailment of Stay - No Refunds Given. Please request a cancellation
reference number, required in all future correspondence. All cancellations
will be confirmed by email.
Individual booking policy - Cancellation Policy 7 days.
Group bookings 2 or more rooms – Cancellation Policy 14 days.
We strongly recommend that guests take out travel /
cancellation insurance.
The Yorkshire Tourist Board recommend that you take out cancellation
insurance, please call TPS Ltd 0870 7744056.
Accounts must be settled in full on arrival by Debit or Credit Card (Subject
to surcharge) or Cash. We no longer accept Cheques as a method of payment.
Please confirm arrival times when reserving your booking. Should your
confirmed arrival time change, please contact the Barrington straight away.
Last checking in time is 9.00pm (unless by prior arrangement with the
Barrington).
Guests are requested to vacate the rooms by 10:00am on the day of departure.
Failing to do this without prior consent could incur further charges.
To maintain our high standards all rooms are checked following check out. The
cardholder is deemed to be responsible for their actions and those of any of
their party. Warrens reserves the right to replace, with new, any missing,
damaged or soiled items, any additional cleaning will be charged
appropriately and may include any cost for loss of business. The cost of the
replacement or cleaning will be charged against the card used to secure the
room.
For the comfort and benefit of our guests the Barrington is a strictly non-smoking
establishment. We will charge for any cost incurred by guest not respecting
our non-smoking policy.
